Hereby we would like to draw your attention to the conference „In Restauro: Post-War Heritage of Art and Architecture in Central and Eastern Europe. Integrated Approaches to Dissonant Monuments and Sites“. The hybrid event is planned to be held live in Kazanlak (Bulgaria) and online by ICOMOS Germany and ICOMOS Bulgaria. The mayor of the city of Kazanlak, Galina Stoyanova, has taken over the patronage of the event. The hosts are the City of Kazanlak, the Iskra History Museum in Kazanlak and the Buzludzha Project Foundation, which is supported by the Getty Foundation as part of the “Keeping it Modern Initiative.” The Partners of the international conference are: the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia, the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, the Bern University of Arts (HKB), the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Diadrasis NGO, the German Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community (BMI) as coordination point of the partnership Culture and Cultural Heritage of the EU Urban Agenda, as well as Europa Nostra and the ICOMOS International Scientific Committees on 20th Century Heritage (ISC 20C), Cultural Routes (ICTC) and Small and Medium Towns (CIVVIH).
